Noddi and Dekkfix – what's what?

🛒

Noddi – the marketplace

Customers book wheel changes, tyre hotel and car care on noddi.no, and the job is done where the car is parked – by quality-assured providers.

🔧

Dekkfix – your employer

Dekkfix AS is Noddi's own subsidiary and in-house provider on the marketplace: wheel changes, tyre hotel, tyre sales and tyre fitting in Greater Oslo – mostly mobile, at the customer's location, with our base at Ramstadsletta in Høvik.

The bookings come from Noddi, the routes are planned in the Navio app, and you do the job. Dekkfix is your employer.

The roles we hire for

🛞

Wheel-change technician

Mobile wheel changes and tyre hotel. You drive out to customers and change wheels where the car is parked – at home, at work or in the garage. You inspect the tyres (tread depth, age and damage) and record it in the app. On tyre-hotel jobs you collect the customer's stored wheel set from the warehouse before you head out, and bring the wheels going into storage back with you.

  • Wheel changes without tyre hotel can be done in your own car – mileage allowance per kilometre, and tolls are covered.
  • Tyre-hotel jobs are done in Dekkfix's vans, since you're transporting wheel sets.
  • Requirements: professional experience from the automotive trade – for example a tyre shop or car workshop – minimum 18 years old, a category B driving licence, a smartphone with data, Norwegian or English, and that you enjoy physical work and meeting people.
Season: autumn and spring
🚐

Driver / transporter

You drive transfer orders: wheel sets that need to move between our warehouses in Greater Oslo, so the right set is ready where the technicians collect it. You get the orders in the app, and every wheel set is scanned at pickup and delivery.

  • You drive Dekkfix's vans.
  • Requirements: a category B driving licence and an orderly approach – the right set has to end up in the right place every time.
Season: autumn and spring
🔩

Tyre mechanic

Fitting and balancing tyres on rims, repairs and preparation – at our workshop at Ramstadsletta in Høvik, and mobile at customers' locations when the job can be done where the car is.

  • Requirements: a trade certificate and relevant experience from a tyre workshop.
Season: autumn and spring – plus jobs outside the season

The seasons: autumn from late September to mid-November, spring from late March to the end of May. Coming from another country? See “Frequently asked questions” at the bottom of the page.

How your pay works

Your pay has three parts, and all of it is calculated on the hours you register in the app. Nothing in the model pays you less for doing more work.

💰

Hourly wage – per hour

Every registered hour – driving, depot, check-in and tidying up included. Your pay category sets the rate.

Unskilled, 18+
208 kr
Unskilled, over 1 year's experience
212 kr
Trade certificate, newly qualified
224 kr
Trade certificate, over 1 year's experience
237 kr

The hourly wage alone is at or above the minimum rate in the tyre industry. Bonus comes on top.

⚡

Efficiency bonus

Extra kroner on every hour on the route, determined by how many services you complete per hour.

up to +40 kr/h
1.20 services per hour
+12 kr/h
1.40
+20 kr/h
1.60
+28 kr/h
1.80
+35 kr/h
2.00 and above
+40 kr/h

One wheel change = 1 service. Rim cleaning and carrying assistance count too. The break (up to 30 min) is kept out of the calculation.

📸

Inspection bonus

For every car where the tyre inspection is fully recorded in the app: photo, tread depth, dimension and rim condition.

10 kr per car

Three out of four earns nothing – the app checks it automatically when the route is closed.

🧮

A typical day – 8 hours on the route

12 wheel changes and 2 rim cleans = 13 services ÷ 8 hours = 1.63 per hour, which is the +28 kr/h tier.

Hourly wage 208 kr × 8 h
1 664 kr
Efficiency bonus 28 kr × 8 h
224 kr
Inspection bonus 12 cars × 10 kr
120 kr
Total for the day
2 008 kr
251 kr per hour

Calculated with an hourly wage of 208 kr. At 237 kr the day comes to 2 240 kr – 280 kr per hour.

⭐

One condition for both bonuses

Customers rate every job. The month's bonus is paid out when your average score for courtesy and the result on the car is 4.0 or higher.

It only applies once you have at least five rated jobs in the month – with fewer, the condition counts as met. Only what's yours counts: not the app, the booking or the price.

📋

Worth knowing

  • Own car on wheel changes: mileage allowance of 5 kr/km, and tolls are covered.
  • Overtime is paid with a supplement of at least 40 %.
  • You're employed by Dekkfix AS with holiday pay, pension and occupational injury insurance.
  • The rates are set out in Dekkfix Bonus Rates v1.0, which you get when you're hired. The caps are in the employment contract: up to 50 kr/h and up to 15 kr per car.

Working hours and availability

🕐

Open 07–22, every day

You set up your own shifts in the app within opening hours. The season is when there's most to do, and we plan the routes around how much you want to work – from 20 to 100 %.

  • All hours are registered in the app – you clock in and out, and register breaks.
  • We follow the Working Environment Act's limits on working hours and rest periods.
❓

Three answers we need from you

  1. How many days a week can you work?
  2. Can you work weekends?
  3. What time of day can you work – within 07–22?

The more predictable your answers, the better routes we can give you.

🚗

Car

Frequently asked questions

Do I need wheel-change experience?

Yes. We want candidates with professional experience from the automotive trade – for example from a tyre shop or car workshop – who have changed wheels before. Our training is about how we work, not about teaching you the trade.

Do I need my own car?

For wheel-change jobs, yes. For tyre hotel and transport you use Dekkfix's vans.

Where are the jobs?

All across Greater Oslo: Oslo, Asker, Bærum, Lillestrøm, Ski and Drammen – and the surrounding areas. Our base is at Ramstadsletta in Høvik.

Do I need to speak Norwegian?

Norwegian or English is fine. You get the employment contract in both languages.

What if I run into problems at a customer's?

You call us. There's always someone on the phone during opening hours.

Is this a permanent job?

All the roles are seasonal positions for the autumn and spring seasons. Tyre mechanics also get jobs outside the season. Ask us what applies right now.

I'm from another country – what do I need?

A passport or ID, a residence permit where required, a Norwegian tax deduction card and a bank account for your pay.

You get a tax deduction card by booking an ID check at the Norwegian Tax Administration (Skatteetaten) or SUA (Service Centre for Foreign Workers). The appointment must be booked before you start with us – you can start working before it has taken place, but we need your tax card before your first pay.
