Retrofit of wheel bolts

It is always recommended to retighten wheel bolts after a tire change! Spring and fall are peak season for wheels that come loose.

- It is a good investment to spend five minutes retightening the wheel bolts, whether you have rearranged yourself, visited Noddi or done it in a workshop. This way you avoid unpleasant and dangerous situations,” says Jan Harry Svendsen, advisor at NAF.

5 important tips after a tire change

  • Trailing after 30-50 kilometers
  • Preferably use a torque wrench so that the bolts are pulled with the right force.
  • Tighten the bolts in a “star pattern” (or in the form of a cross if the car has four wheel bolts).
  • Do not tighten the bolts too hard.
  • The right torque can be found in the car's instruction manual.

... or you can let one of our technicians take care of it.
